- ALL Payments to be made ‘On-Site’ in Sorrento.
- We accept Cash, Debit, MasterCard, Visa, E-Transfer, Money Order/Bank Draft.
*** NEW *** Invoices that have a total of $1000 and higher will now incur a Credit Card Convenience Fee of 3%. You will be notified by email after the auction has closed and you will need to reply to that email by the end of auction closing day if you want to change your Payment Method to other than the Visa or Mastercard you selected when setting up your account. Failure to do so by the deadline will result in your credit card being charged along with the 3% Credit Card Convenience Fee. This procedure applies to each auction as there currently is no way to permanently change your Method of Payment through Live Auction World. - *** NOTE: *** – Payments by Debit, Cash, E-Transfer or Money Order/Bank Draft are NOT charged this Convenience Fee.
- DO NOT PHONE OR LEAVE PHONE MESSAGES as the office is closed on weekends.
- If ‘alternate’ payment method is chosen at time of registering, please ensure items are paid for by 4 pm the Tuesday following the auction.
- If paying by e-transfer, send e-transfer to: bob@doddsauction.com.
- If you send an e-transfer after the credit card has been charged, your e-transfer will be sent back to you. BE VERY SURE OF YOUR PAYMENT METHOD!
- If you do not pick up your items by the deadline and your invoice is still outstanding, your credit card will be charged (including Convenience Fee, if applicable) as this is a contractual agreement you, the bidder, agree to when registering in our auction.
PICK UP INFO
- ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP ‘ON-SITE’ IN SORRENTO (address provided closer to auction date)
- 2 PICK UP DAYS – MON/TUE (MAY 5/6) – 9 am – 4 pm
- We will not be bringing any items back from the On-Site
to Dodds Showroom to be picked up. - It is your responsibility to ensure you have all the items listed on your invoice.
- ITEMS NOT PICKED UP by 4 pm Tuesday, May 6th, are considered abandoned
and NO REFUNDS given. - Please make sure you bring your own boxes/help to disassemble/load and any
tools/loading equipment (if necessary) as we are not responsible to provide. - Further, while we have provided this service for years, due to staffing shortages, etc.,
we no longer can continue to carry & load your items. Please help us out by bringing
people to help you.

- Shipping will be via Canada Post including insurance (unless advised otherwise) at
Canada Post’s posted rates and costs will be determined after the auction and charged to
the credit card you registered with on Live Auction World. - Dodds Auction is not responsible for any damage incurred through shipping.
- We DO NOT provide shipping quotes.
- If you prefer to handle your own shipping, please specify this under ‘Shipping Preference’
at time of registration. - If the shipment does not fall within the Canada Post restrictions (30 kg), you will need to
arrange an alternative shipper (Canpar, DHL, UPS are a few suggestions). - NOTE: Shipping may not be feasible on some items due to size/weight. We will not ship
dishes/glassware unless it’s a very small lot. We do not ship furniture or mirrors.

- You will get an email. OPEN & follow instructions to confirm registration.
- You can now Register/Bid.
- Remember to make note of your Username, Password & email address as only YOU know this information.
Absentee Bids – How It Works
Absentee bids accepted by calling Dodds Auction at 250-545-3259 or 1-866-545-3259 by 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 2. We will submit your bid ‘online’ on your behalf.

RETURN POLICY – ALL ITEMS SOLD ‘AS IS’. NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to determine the condition, suitability, etc. of the lot you are bidding on. Attend viewing or call/email us if you have any questions on certain lots you’re interested in, and we’ll do our best to find answers.
TERMS & CONDITIONS – It is your responsibility to read the Terms & Conditions & other info to understand how the auction works. REMINDER that if you select Visa or Mastercard as your Preferred Payment Method, your card will be charged after the auction closes if total amount owing is <$1,000.
