  • We accept Cash, Debit, MasterCard, Visa, E-Transfer, Money Order/Bank Draft.
  • ***NOTE: If you selected VISA or MASTERCARD as your Preferred Payment Method when creating your account, your invoice balance will be charged to the credit card you registered with after the auction closes.
  • Once charged, if you want to change your payment to another method and have the charge refunded to the credit card, there will be a 3% fee to cover the cost of running your credit card.
  • If you send an e-transfer after the credit card has been charged, your e-transfer will be sent back to you. BE VERY SURE OF YOUR PAYMENT METHOD!
  • If paying by e-transfer, send to: bob@doddsauction.com.  E-transfers are auto-deposited.
  • If you want to change your Preferred Payment Method from VISA or MASTERCARD after your account was created, it has to be done on an auction to auction basis. The system is unable to make a permanent change to this. The onus will be on you to notify Dodds Auction by email (doddsauctionvernon@gmail.com) by 10 am on auction closing day for each auction going forward that you wish to change. Failure to do so and you insist on paying by a different method and having your credit card refunded, you will incur the 3% charge.
  • If you do not pick up your items by the pick up deadline and your invoice is still outstanding, your registered credit card will be charged.

PICK UP INFO

    ALL ITEMS must be picked up at Dodds – Showroom in Vernon.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure you have all the items listed on your invoice.
  • NO Pick Ups Saturday/Sunday.  Dodds only open from 8 am – Noon on Saturday if an auction date.  Closed on Sundays.
  • 2 PICK UP DAYS – MON/TUE (week following the auction) – 8:00 am – 4:00 pm  (Note:  Change in Business Hours)
  • Items NOT picked up by Tuesday, February 25th, 2025, @ 4 pm are considered abandoned & No Refund Given.
  • Please make sure you bring your own boxes/help to disassemble/load and any tools/loading equipment (if necessary).
    Further, while we have provided this service for years, due to staffing shortages, etc., we no longer can continue to carry & load your items.  Please help us out by bringing people to help you.

  • LIMITED SHIPPING AVAILABLE. 30KG LIMIT
  • Shipping of Items Out of Town:   Available, at a cost.  Note:  2 separate transactions.
  • Item(s) must be paid for first (1st transaction) / Shipping Charges (2nd transaction).
  • Shipping will be via Canada Post including insurance (unless advised otherwise) at
    Canada Post’s posted rates and costs will be determined after the auction and charged to
    the credit card you registered with on Live Auction World.
  • Dodds Auction is not responsible for any damage incurred through shipping.
  • We DO NOT provide shipping quotes.
  • If you prefer to handle your own shipping, please specify this under ‘Shipping Preference’
    at time of registration.
  • If the shipment does not fall within the Canada Post restrictions (30 kg), you will need to
    arrange an alternative shipper.
  • There will be a packaging fee added to cover time/supplies.
  • NOTE: Shipping may not be feasible on some items due to size/weight. We will not ship
    dishes/glassware unless it’s a very small lot. We do not ship furniture or mirrors.

Absentee Bids – How It Works

Absentee bids accepted by calling Dodds Auction at 250-545-3259 or 1-866-545-3259 or in person before 4:00 pm, Friday, Feb 21.  We will submit your bid ‘online’ on your behalf.

RETURN POLICY (LIMITED GUARANTEE) – Dodds Auction only guarantees items for mechanical or electrical malfunction. Should your item not work due to one of those reasons, you have until 4 pm, Wednesday, February 26, to return it. Items sold AS IS or INOPERABLE are non-refundable.
