On-Line Timed Bidding
Our auctions are now conducted online through Live Auction World. If you are having difficulty navigating the online registration process, please call the office and arrange an appointment for a demonstration on how to complete your registration and get started bidding.
Viewing Days: Are the Thursday and Friday before the auction, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:30 am to Noon.
Absentee Bids: If you are unable to bid online, you can complete an Absentee Bid Form and your bid will be handled for you. Call (250-545-3259/Toll Free: 1-866-545-3259) or stop by our office to arrange.
Auction Closing: The auction begins closing on the Saturday with Lot 1 closing at 9:00 am and every 20 seconds for each subsequent lot.
Buyer’s Premium & Taxes: All items are subject to an 18% Buyer’s Premium as well as PST & GST.
Payment: Payment will be processed after the auction closes using the credit card that was registered with Live Auction World.
Pick Up: Pick up of items won is Monday and Tuesday after the auction from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Auctions where the items are located on-site must be picked up at that location. You will need to bring whatever equipment/help/boxes necessary to load and pack your items.
Costs & Guarantees: You are responsible for all the purchases you make through bidding online or by absentee bid. It is also your responsibility to inspect all the items you are interested in before you bid on them. Most things are sold as-is and there are no refunds. The exception is for electrical or mechanical. Dodds Auction offers a limited guarantee on these types of things, which would include stereos, electrical appliances, computer hardware, power tools and motors. The guarantee is good until Wednesday, 5:00 pm, immediately following our on-line Saturday auction. If there is a problem but you cannot return the item on the Wednesday, you must call and tell us about it by the deadline.
